London is one of the most popular travel destinations around the world, and no wonder with a rich history dating back to the Roman empire. Another must see is the Tate Modern with an international collection of modern art. From the docks behind the Tate Gallery, there are several Thames river cruises leaving for the Tate Britain which holds the national collection of British art dating back to 1500, to the Tower of London, to check the time at Greenwich, to Canary Wharf and other destinations. Thames lunch and dinner cruises plus showboat tours are available, making for a delightful day along the river. There are international flights from every corner of the globe to London that make it easy for anyone to enjoy a visit to this fabulous city, and cheap London flights can be found on many discount airlines.
