It’s really hectic around here with so much to do and halloween just around the corner. My family probably should have started planning months ago for all the decorating they want to do. My husband has been online ordering all kinds of decorations and eerie props for the house and yard. Among all the decorations and props he has added a crawling hand to the list. He’s been contemplating on a different costume this year. His costume last year was a werewolf. I can’t say for sure what he will be this year. He loves halloween as much as the kids. Our son is the same way when it comes to halloween. He’s ready to go out there and get all the candy he can. Planning the dcor and the costumes took them a while. Husband and son both are big fans of the â€Pirates of the Caribbean and other movies like that. So I already know that a pirate costume is probably at the top of the list. I saw my son checking out an adult pirate costume and some children pirate costumes online yesterday. So I won’t be surprised to see a men’s pirate costume and a pirate boy costume coming in the mail soon. I wondered if they were going to have me join the crew with a lady pirate costume. They were discussing pirate chests and something about a skull with a sword protruding from it. I’d say piracy was definitely in the air. Even Scooby Doo could sniff out those clues. They ended up telling me that they were considering ordering all of us pirates costumes. What a shocker! So they started checking out the online store for pirate costume selections. Our son was thinking about the ghostly pirate he found and my husband was still stuck in the Caribbean for his costume. They still weren’t really sure about the type of pirate they wanted to be. They changed their minds with every new high seas pirate costume they ran across. I figured I might as well find my own female pirate costume before they start giving me suggestions. I knew they would end up convincing me to join them. There were some pretty cool womens pirate costumes to check out. One was a sassy pirate costume and the other was a pirate queen costume. I’ve always felt like I should be in charge anyway. So why not dress the part, right? They do have a lot of pirate accessories at this online store. They had the pirate costume hats and even a set of pirate teeth. You should see the pirate boots and swords they have available. Every time I check out more pirate stuff, the more glad I am that I decided to buy a pirate Halloween costume. The guys want to get everyone into the act. They are even ordering a dog pirate costume for our little bulldog. I’m beginning to think my husband needs some serious therapy. But I will say they had some really cute pet costumes to check out. He does make a cute pirate in his costume. They not only had the costume, but, it also came with the pirate hat and hook. Our son made a little eye patch for him that really completes the outfit. My husband was the captain and my son a rogue pirate. Now they have all the stuff to make this the Halloween they have been waiting for. They have been working on the decorations for a while. They did put their best foot forward this year on decorations. They have done a super job. We only ran into one problem in this family venture. Even though my husband feels he’s qualified to be the captain, our son feels he should be the leader. But deep down inside, they know who’s running this crew.
