We’ve been so busy getting ready for halloween this year. With all the decorating my husband and son have planned, they should have started in July. My husband is at the computer ordering his online Halloween supplies. Among all the decorations and props he has added a crawling hand to the list. I think this year he is planning on a new costume idea. He opted for the werewolf costume last year. I can’t say for sure what he will be this year. But he is just as excited as a child at halloween. Halloween affects our son the same way. He’s ready to go out there and get all the candy he can. They spent so much time planning the decorations and their costumes. Both of my men are hooked on movies like â€Pirates of the Caribbean†and other movies of the sort. So I already know that a pirate costume is probably at the top of the list. I saw my son checking out an adult pirate costume and some children pirate costumes online yesterday. So I won’t be surprised to see a men’s pirate costume and a pirate boy costume coming in the mail soon. I was expecting them to suggest that I find a woman pirate costume for me. They were discussing pirate chests and something about a skull with a sword protruding from it. I’d say the evidence was pretty conclusive. Anyone could tell where this was leading. They ended up telling me that they were considering ordering all of us pirates costumes. Well, blow me down! So they started checking out the online store for pirate costume selections. My husband favored the caribbean pirate costumes and my son voted for a ghost pirate costume. They still weren’t really sure about the type of pirate they wanted to be. Every time they found a new male pirate costume they changed their choices. I decided to concede and choose from one of the women’s pirate costume selection. They would have eventually talked me into it anyway. I did find a couple of female pirate costumes I liked. One was a sassy pirate costume and the other was a pirate queen costume. I’ve always felt like I should be in charge anyway. I think I should dress appropriately for taking over the ship. They do have a lot of pirate accessories at this online store. You can get a set of the nasty pirate teeth, hats and more. There’s also all kinds of stuff like boots and swashbuckling swords. The more I look at these online accessories, the more excited I’m getting about wearing the ladies pirate costume. The guys want to get everyone into the act. They are even ordering a dog pirate costume for our little bulldog. I’m beginning to think my husband needs some serious therapy. But I will say they had some really cute pet costumes to check out. The costume does look pretty cute. They not only had the costume, but, it also came with the pirate hat and hook. The eye patch our son made for the dog really added to his pirate costume. My son chose the rogue pirate costume and my husband the pirate captain costume. We now have everything we need for Halloween. They have been working on the decorations for a while. They really did go all out this year on Halloween. It’s really looking fantastic. We only ran into one problem in this family venture. Even though my husband feels he’s qualified to be the captain, our son feels he should be the leader. But they both know who the real captain of this ship is.
