Walking is the cheapest and easiest form of exercise to lose weight. The first thing you need to do is purchase a supportive pair of walking shoes. Second, start walking. That's right. For a minimum of thirty minutes a day you should be walking. It does'nt matter where you do it, the gym on a treadmill, outside at a park or on a trail, or just on your neighborhood street. Just get out their and start walking.

Along with a great walking exercise routine your going to want to be on a good diet system. That means eating healthy foods. Their are many great diet programs on the market, just find the one that fits you best. Find the top 10 diets on the market, and pick the best one.

You don't need to be jogging. Walking actually burns more calories than jogging does. This is a fact. Plus, it's a lot better on your joints than jogging. Keeping a daily log of your routine and progress is also very important. You don't have to write a long and drawn out novel. Just write down what you have eaten that day and how long you walked for. This will help you. It makes you be more honest with yourself, and helps you focus on your goal you have set.

A bonus you receive from walking everyday will be that your body will produce more mood enhancing chemicals known as endorphins. These endorphins are what help fight depression and anxiety. Your body will also create more serotonin, and hormone that helps you relax, and you will sleep a thousand times better at night. You will wake up feeling better and more energized.

Here are a couple of examples of foods you should be eating along with your walking exercise routine.

In the morning, you should be eating eggs. Eggs are the cheapest and best source of protein on the planet. This protein is what helps your body create muscle. And with more muscle your body burns fat a lot quicker. Yogurt is also another great source of protein. In addition it has live enzymes in it that help your digestive system. Eat a banana. Bananas are a great source of potassium which help your body fight fatigue.

For lunch and dinner you should be eating leat meats and leafy green vegetables. Chicken breasts are a great lean meat choice to have and steamed brocoli, carrots, and spinach are an excellent vegetable source.

If you need a snack during the day try eating celery sticks with peanut butter on them or maybe a bowl of cottage cheese with peach slices.

And finally, you should be drinking at least eight glasses of water a day. I can't stress enough how good this is for you. If your serious about losing weight you have to drink your water. Not only does it keep you hydrated but it also flushes toxins out of your body...No more soft drinks...Drink your water..Trust me!! This is one of the quickest ways to lose weight.
