Make Money On Ebay ~ How To Make It Easy For Your Buyers

Make money on eBay by making it extremely easy for you customers. It all starts with excellent communication. Next comes being able to anticipate what the prospective buyer wants to know. Finally comes communicating the details to actual buyers.
 


  • Make money on eBay by making it easy for prospective buyers to know what they are buying.


Provide a very accurate descriptive title. The title needs to include brand information, key words about what the specific item is, and other critical, eye catching information.

If you accept specific payment methods, it is important to include that information in the description. If you sell (or don’t sell) internationally include that information. If there are guarantees, include the specifics of that guarantee. The more details that you provide about your terms the better.

Buyers will gain confidence in you and your products when they are guaranteed. If you do offer a guarantee, include the details in the product description. Often adding a guarantee will immediately translate into extra sales and higher auction prices.

Include a list of the most frequently asked questions AND the answers in your auction description. That step will result in much less email to you, along with time to re-answer questions previously asked by another bidder. More importantly, it will result in more bids. Prospective buyers can see the answers to their questions instantly, and can then move onto bidding rather than waiting for you to email the answer later.

If a prospective buyer asks a question that is unique, take the time to answer it immediately. The longer the time between the asking of the question and you responding the less likely that there will be a bid from that prospective buyer.

Once a buyer has made a purchase, immediately begin emailing them. Immediately acknowledge and thank the buyer for the purchase. Then keep the buyer informed of the status of their product as you await payment, and then pack and ship the product upon payment.

Buyers appreciate hearing a simple ‘Thank You’ for your purchase. Include a brief ‘Thank You’ note with the package. Another option; add “Thank You’ to the packing slip that you include in your package. You depend on buyers for your success. Let them know that you appreciate their business! 
  
Make money on eBay is as easy as good communication. That communication translates into making it easy for your buyers and prospective buyers to purchase from you.


    • Keep them informed of every step of the process (Communicate)

    • When they ask a question – answer that question immediately.

    • Communicate quickly


      • When they ask a question

      • When they buy

      • When you ship


    • Ship quickly after payment has been made
