The point of sale is what the customer needs to get to, so that they are able to make the purchase that they want to make. As a retailer, you need to make sure that when they get to the point of sale the customer is persuaded to take a good look at the items available. You can do this with all sorts of different retail displays, making sure the items look attractive, the price is clear and the customer can see all the information they might need; most customers will not hang around to find a sales assistant to ask. A customer’s decision to make a purchase at any point of sale is not purely down to price. Often, the price of the items are the same through a range of shops so there are other areas of any retail design that need to be considered. Customers may prefer a certain shop because of the great brand that it has, or because they have shopped there in the past and had a pleasant experience. Yet it also could just as easily be because they prefer the layout of the shop or the point of sale display stands as they are more appealing. Depending on the items retailed, it may be because they can see and touch the product in the flesh before they buy it, where other shops may not have display models and looking at the box or a picture is not as helpful. Often the crucial factor is a subconscious one. Here at Green Room Retail we appreciate how important it is for the customer to make the purchase and we have a great understanding of what helps in the retail design world. We are able to offer pop up shops, retail displays and anything else required to help push that sale.
