Making Small Changes To Your Diet And Your Lifestyle Is The Key To Losing Weight

By: yangguang01 Home | Health-and-Fitness | Weight-Loss

Just being overweight is increasing your risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol. Around 1,000 people die every week from obesity-related diseases in the UK. Most people don't realize that losing five percent of their body weight, about half a stone, can improve your health dramatically. My back was very, very bad. You know I would get out of breath so easily. I was in the borderline going to be diabetic because of my weight. It felt like I was locked in somebody else' body. Those are how man overweight people feel. They are living in the miserable condition.
The key to weight loss is making small changes to your diet and your lifestyle. We want you to incorporate at least 30 minutes of physical activity into your day. It does not have to be running a marathon or swimming the channel. It's just little things like walking a little bit more, taking the stairs instead of the life. I swim most mornings before work and I run on the weekends, usually. I'm not a natural sporty person. I have to work at it. I have to psych myself up to go and do it. I spend all day arguing with myself. I also go clubbing, which is good exercise, especially when it's till 6 am. We need to do those things and we will become more health.
There are many programs out there. You have to do it on your own terms, it has to be your thing if you're going to feel good about it and be successful. As a health care provider and a certified personal trainer I have never seen anything work better then going over your diet, your calories, and your exercise patterns to lose weight.
So it's wise for you to sit down with a trainer, health care provider, or other fitness professional and develop a healthy eating plan if you want real results, a better body, and a healthier lifestyle. Common sense, use of basic scientific principles, and healthy eating habits will beat any fad on any day.
