Making Your Images Stand Out In Your Brochure

By: karen grahams Home | Business | Advertising

When it comes to improving the images and graphics that are placed in your cheap brochure printing, it is a must for you to carefully choose which to place in your material. You need to pinch all those images and graphics quite a bit to ensure that they are of good quality before you start the printing process. So, if you want your brochure and especially its images to look great and impressive, consider the following tips to attain a great and attractive brochure for your business.

â€Firstly, enhance or improve the brightness and especially the contrast of your images and graphics. This process is considered as one of the simplest things to do for you to improve the image in your brochure. This process can be done with the aid of an editing application such as the Adobe Photoshop that can be found in your computer. Using this application, you can adjust the brightness and the contrast of the image that you want to put in your brochures.

â€Secondly, apply color and noise correction filter in the images in your brochure. When you have finished the task of adjusting the brightness and contrast of the images, your next stop is to apply color and noise correction filters. Most applications such as the Photoshop have in them built in correction filters that help a lot in enhancing images. Simply use the tool to do the necessary corrections.

â€Thirdly, use only a high resolution image. It is very crucial to use high resolution images for your brochure and its layout. This process is not only for the sake of the quality of the image in the screen but for the printing process as well. This is because there are images that look great on the screen, but when they printed into your brochure, they will look fuzzy. Such resolution can annoy your clients and customers resulting in lost sales. So always make sure that you use high resolution images for your brochure for you to have an attractive and effective brochure.

â€Fourthly, apply framing effects and especially borders to your color brochure printing. For you to effectively put your images in your brochure, you need to apply borders and framing effects. Borders have the task of framing an image for emphasis and review for your brochure. A good example for that is when using shadows. It is a great way to make an image or graphic stand out in a brochure. However, just be always sure to use this effect in a good manner. You must also use it within your brochure theme. Don’t simply use the effect just because other business owners are doing it. Make sure it is for the greater good of your brochure and your business.

â€Lastly, use contrasting backgrounds. It is very crucial for your brochure images to have contrasting backgrounds. All images in your brochures must be dominantly opposite from the background of the brochure for them to be always intact with the layout. A contrasting background will put emphasis on the element you want to be easily seen by the eye. For instance, if you want an image or text to stand out, use a color completely opposite to the background. Black and white is the simplest form of contrasting colors.
