One thing that is often overlooked when it comes to planning a wedding is the wedding band. Whilst some people will look to cut corners by getting friends or family to do it, others will simply eschew the live music option altogether and just go for a DJ playing random hits and often offering no atmosphere whatsoever. Having a DJ will often mean that your evening party is no different to any other party in any other town. Even with the perfect venue, the entertainment needs to create an atmosphere and the one thing that can do this successfully above all others is using live bands. Wedding bands will almost always have a huge repertoire of songs they can offer, with the potential for you to choose specific songs as well; certain hits that will mean something to the bride and groom or even just specific songs that will be particularly nostalgic to the friends and family attending. At a wedding, people want to get up and dance and totally let themselves go. However, a normal DJ will usually just play record after record, whilst live bands will have the presence and experience to know exactly how to work a crowd and ensure that they are enjoying every single minute. Wedding bands will also know the exact songs that get people moving on such an occasion, and will be able to judge a crowd extremely well to understand which songs in their repertoire will work the best. So when you want the perfect end to your perfect wedding, don’t just let it fizzle out. Keep people enjoying themselves and enjoying the experience of live music right up until the end. You will find that the wedding feels unique and a real â€event’ with live music, as opposed to just another disco in another hall.
