Mechanical Systems Made Easy

By: Virginia Mccullough Home | Finance

Mechanical systems are simple systems often constructed for a single purpose. They generally have a few parts or subsystems. Simple mechanical systems are around us in our daily lives. They are constructed in a way that their parts are used in symphony with each other toward a common goal. Their operations are transparent to us unless we specifically examine them. They effectively maintain the human environment in a comfortable equilibrium.

Any building service using machines is a mechanical system. The plumbing, elevators, escalators, heating, and air-conditioning systems are part of mechanical solution services.

This system of mechanics was introduced because to meet floor space demand the designing team started including electrical and HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) engineers in the early 20th century.

Some popular mechanical solutions services provided are as follows:
Mechanical constructions - These include detailed project overview, execution detailing schedules, labor allocation, budget and cost control measures that cover the construction of hospitals, schools, apartment buildings, stores, warehouses, mines, and paper mills.

Mechanical contractors - Licensed pipefitters, welders, boilermakers, millwrights, commercial and industrial plumbers, plastic fabricators, metal fabricators, commercial and industrial heating, and cooling experts and welders comprise these contractors.

Mechanical Insulation -

Millwright - This is a transition system involving dismantling, erecting, aligning, and adjusting of machinery. Machines used here are dryers, cranes, storage rack system, conveyers.

Plumbing - This is mainly done for maintenance purpose.

Air Conditioning - This solves commercial air conditioning and industrial process refrigeration problems.

Air Distribution - This form of mechanics controls the quality of indoor air. Due to negative air pressure and uncontrolled air circulation, commercial and industrial buildings suffer from air distribution problems, such as humidity, fumes, inefficient heat transfer, hot and cold spots, heat loss, dust drafts, and stratification.

Heating - Heating solutions using gas, water, electricity, and steam are used to heat up units.

Insulation - The life span of industrial equipment, such as boilers, valves, turbines, industrial piping, ducting, are increased.

Panel Fabrication - This involves custom designing, engineering, and fabrication of panels for commercial and industrial projects.

Pipe Fabrication - This means fabricating custom length pipes and assemblies for both commercial and industrial projects.
