When things end between you and your love it is perfectly plausible for you to be feeling quite angry and alone and have a broken heart. If you have been with each other for years it can be seriously tough, you feel that your world is pointless and nothing is the way it should be anymore. It definitely doesn't seem likely that you can mend your broken heart. So how do you heal you broken heart and make things right? Quite possibly in the time leading up to the relationship ender you may have been living through worry and doubt as the relationship had deteriorated. If you have been toughing it out praying that things will get better and giving it your all to make the relationship work, you are imaginably going to be feeling very drained and exhausted. You are now having to get the hang of living on your own again after living as part of a couple. This can be incredibly hard, and leave you not knowing what to do by yourself. Recovering from a Broken Heart isn't anyones idea of a good time. Something to focus on right away is to comes to terms with that the relationship is kaput. You have to try and understand that as best as you can. Then you need to rest and relax and give your brain a break, it is only natural after all. Cry as much as you can and don't be afraid to. Fall off the face of the earth for a number of days if you feel the need and indulge in pity party. Eat ice cream, cry and watch movies. It will make you feel better to let it all out and have a good cry. Get friends to come over and watch movies if you don't want to be aloneyet. After a while you will get tired of self pity and self indulgence and want to go on with life. most of the time this is easier said than done. I remember when I broke up with someone I really loved, I felt very upset for a long time. So I cried and cried, indulged in self pity, cut myself off from my friends and hid in my bedroom and cried around. Then like everyone else, I just got sick of being sad and lonely. I decided to do something about it so I made the smartest move I'd made in a long time. I got help. Of course this does not mean that it's all going to be perfect in an instant. But it does mean that you can now begin to move forward and slowly get it together and move on with your life. An example of a good method I found was to try only to pay attention to the positive things. Be grateful for every good thing you can think of. Instead of listening to what you are missing i.e. your ex See only what you DO HAVE. Only start with the small things. Is there enough food in your stomach? Do you have a job? Are you in good health? Can you work? Do you have good friends? Do you have a loving family? Then there you go! Pay attention, where you stand, Don't take on too much. Most importantly, don't waste your valuable energy and tackle this by yourself. Find some quality advice. Make a change in your life. See the link below to learn from the professionals.
