Merimbula is a place that can accommodate all types of visitors, from couples and honeymooners and single travellers to retirees and those with young families. The beaches in the area are plentiful, the main one located just a few minutes walk from the town is a long sandy stretch that goes all the way to Pambula beach.

Sunbathing, swimming and surfing are perfect in the warm waters and in summer it hosts the annual â€Mambo Classic' event featuring stand up surfing, kite surfing, and wave sailing and attracting athletes from all over the country to compete.
