I wanted a change and wondered, was this it?rnrnWhat does this have to do with anything, you say? Well, Russ Whitney was selling his business opportunity which dealt with real estate. What could be a better place for me I thought?rnrnThe infomercial interested me enough that I called to attend the free seminar. Who doesn\'t want to be a millionaire without spending any of their own money? After attending the seminar with my son, I was thinking this is the real deal.rnrnNow I\'m in the system. The $400 seemed okay enough, that I signed on to their 3 day seminar. Bring someone along with you when you come back. My sister-in-law was recently retired, bored and wanted to supplement her retirement income so I offered an invite.rnrnFor 3 days we attended the classes taking many many notes. At the end of the 2nd day we were given homework. After that day, we set our financial goals and made gigantic choices, ones that were long term.rnrnThe students (me and my sister-in-law) plus many others, were ask to get our credit card limits raised, and get more cards if needed. This was to enable the payment of your rehabs. Plus, we had to get an open mortgage account, with a very high dollar ceiling, to be able to finance the purchases of homes/properties.rnrnWe worked our business as we were taught by our coach. We paid extra for our mentoring coach, who we worked with for weeks. We covered a large area while searching for homes to rehab, flip and sell or homes in bankruptcy or foreclosures.rnrnWhat did we have in the end from our Millionaire Mentor Russ Whitney\'s Wealth Academy? Exhaustion, empty pockets, credit card debt (thousands and thousands of dollars) and no deals.rnrnThis may be where you want to start. I still think that Russ Whitney\'s programs contain lots of good information but it\'s very high priced.rnrnA new start up business from home is lots of work but also rewarding. Do your homework before picking out a home-based business. There are lots of good ones out there but please be careful when making your final choice.rn
