If they normally were suits or uniforms, allow them a dress down day with t-shirts or polo's. 3. Have that company gathering at the end of the year. It will possibly take some budget savings throughout the year, but giving back to your team may be well worth spending a bit more to host a good company Christmas party or annual activity for them. In some cases, you may already be doing loads of things to inspire your team but you can no longer continue them due to budget cuts. Be open and upfront with the team members about this, so that they know you wish to still offer for them but with the current business's state, you just can't do so.
