MySpace music is a powerful networking opportunity for any band or artist looking to get signed. With over 100,000 new members daily, the publicity and exposure you can gain from MySpace for bands and musicians is unbelievable.

A plethora of people believed that MySpace would eventually fade and be passed over by something new and more innovative as with most things this day and age. But, MySpace for musicians and bands seems to be better than ever. If you haven't hopped on the bandwagon yet, then now is a better time than ever!

Your MySpace Music friends list may just be the key to extra exposure. Have you thought of Cross-promoting you music? Put a great band, that you really like on your top friends and ask them to do the same. Chances are, if they have high traffic to their site, so will you.

Another great marketing tool with MySpace for musicians is to throw in a link to download a free song from your main site. Offering a free tune here or there may entice them to download paid MP3s or even purchase your CD. You can also allow people to add your song to their profile. This way, every time someone clicks on their page, your song plays.

Since you are unable to send out mass emails through MySpace, convince people to subscribe to your blog. Blogging also keeps you in touch with your friends and fans and makes you seem a little more personable, real.

MySpace music has grown at lightning speeds, don't get left in the dust. Get a page, what do you have to lose? It is free marketing, free advertising, free networking and a free way to build a gigantic fan base. What more could you ask for?
