Eating right and exercising can become a challenge if you are stressed out, especially these days with more everyday burdens. Stress can have a negative affect on a persons mental state causing low self esteem and their outlook on life, causing a shut down of desire to take care of themselves with nutritional foods and regular exercise or activity. We spend the majority of our lives trying to avoid stress by finding a comfort zone. We try to avoid pain and seek pleasure and spend the most of our time somewhere in between at the comfort zone where stress is best managed. When a stressful situation arises and you find yourself out of the comfort zone, many people reach for stress relievers such as sugary foods, alcohol or smoking etc. More people are leaning towards natural remedies, free of drugs or quick fix solutions that usually fail in the long run. Stress symptoms can be relieved with the simple act of some vigorous exercise or physical activity by a chemical reaction in the brain (endorphines) putting you in a naturally high mood. Losing weight can't be accomplished with exercise alone, sometimes a complete mental transformation needs to take place. Sometimes out of the ordinary natural remedies are best and hypnosis and yoga are becoming a mainstream solution to relieve people from stress related weight gain and every day anxiety symptoms, especially since both can be taught and performed alone and at home. Remaining steadfast in a diet program can be a difficult goal for a lot of individuals since it takes unwavering consistency and in most cases will include removing some, or all of your favorite foods, and the only way to get completly healthy and fit is with some sort of intense exercise or physical fat burning activity. Hypnosis and yoga are both being recognized for their general health and curative benefits for stress symptoms such as emotional overeating or the inability to get motivated for exercise or physical activity. Hypnosis is a natural altered state of mind where you enter a trance-like state. In order for hypnosis to be successfull, the participant must be completely willing and have a deep desire to reach their goal. During hypnosis, you are fully awake, even though you are unaware of what is going on around you. It's similar to when you daydream or become totally immersed in a book or movie. Hypnotism was looked down upon as some sort of theatrical trick until Western medicine showed an interest in its undeniable benefits and since has made great strides towards becoming a useful technique for relieving people of chronic pain, smoking cessation, weight loss, phobias and motivational benefits. In order for an individual to be free of overeating with hypnosis, one must be willing to be transformed into a different state of mind that will reduce the food cravings and give the participant the desire to eat healthy and avoid all the bad fattenning and sugary foods plus a sudden ambition to workout or become physically active. There is no magic to hypnosis, only the individuals use of a natural physical state that influences your subconscious that is only effective if it's something you truly desire. Yoga, is one of the six systems of Hindu philosophy that has been developed over thousands of years. When in use, the participants will experience a sense of rejuvenation and power plus a sense of union with mind, body and soul. There are many forms of yoga, with Hatha encompassing the many physical types of yoga. Ashtanga, which means eight limbs, being the most physical-kind, linking asanas (postures) that are both physical and powerful. A more modern term used today is Power Yoga and is being utilized in many of the gyms and workout classes in America due to it's vigorous and physically demanding constant poses. Because of the constant movement (flow) Power Yoga helps fortify both mind and body while increasing your heart rate and your flexibility. If your using yoga only to lose weight and get in shape, the yoga workouts need to be often and long enough to reap the fat burning results. With all the benefits connected to yoga and exercise for stress relief and overall general health, many individuals are combining exercise with yoga such as jogging, brisk walking, aerobics, etc. Yoga also needs to be performed on a regular basis to have a long term lasting effect. And similar to starting an exercise regimen for the first time, you will need to perform less intense yoga poses in the beginning, so you dont' hurt yourself. So, both hypnosis and yoga are truly effective alternatives to supplements and drugs for weight loss or any stress symptom, providing a deep willingness is present . The rewards will be proportionate to your efforts
