Natural Treatment For Varicose Veins

By: Dr. Mital John Home | Health-and-Fitness

What is a varicose vein, anyway? It's a vein that has become long-drawn-out and swollen with blood. To know how that happens, let's learn a bit about what veins do. Blood in the veins is then transported to the heart and return to the lungs, where the waste carbon dioxide is released and more oxygen is loaded by the blood and taken back to the rest of the body by the arteries.
You have veins and artery running through your whole body.

They are tiny tubes that carry blood to and from every part of your body, from your nose downward to your toes. The flow of blood starts with the pumping action of your heart. When your heart beats, it pumps your blood and moves it from side to side all those little tubes. The artery carry the blood from your heart out to your body and the veins carry the blood from your body reverse to your heart.

Causes of varicose veins: - More women suffer from varicose veins than men do. There are a number of reasons varicose veins may form, including:

â€Standing for extended periods of time
â€Hormonal changes experienced during menopause
â€Obesity
â€Pregnancy
â€Hereditary factors
â€History of previous vein diseases
Symptoms of Varicose Veins: -
â€Pain in the legs: fullness, heaviness, aching
â€Veins that have a rope-like appearance
â€Skin at the ankle discolored brown
â€Skin ulcers near the ankle
â€Visible, enlarged veins
â€Mild swelling of ankles
â€Bulging veins

Natural Treatments for Varicose Vein: -

â€Gingko biloba extract enhances tissue oxygenation and circulation. Take 40 milligrams three times a day.
â€Maintaining a healthy weight will not only prevent spider veins but will also keep you away from many lifestyle diseases.
â€Avoid sugar, fried foods, junk foods, tobacco, salt, and alcohol, process and refined foods.
â€Vitamin K is a natural remedy that aids blood clotting and by rubbing it over spider veins supposedly causes the vein's blood to clot thereby destroying it.
â€Carbo vegetables: Poor circulation with icy coldness of the extremities, and mottled skin with distended veins and a bruised or â€marbled†look, may indicate a need for this remedy.
â€Bilberry extract stimulates new capillary formation, strengthens capillary walls, and enhances the effect of vitamin C in reducing blood-vessel fragility. Take 20 to 40 milligrams three times a day.
â€Exercise daily to maintain a healthy weight. Walking, swimming and bicycling all promote good circulation.
â€Varicose veins are also qualified to inorganic calcium accumulating in the veins. This build up blocks the blood's upward movement like a dam, forcing the veins to bulge outwards near the skins surface. Raw garlic is known to dissolve deposits of both lifeless calcium and cholesterol, allowing the blood to flow freely.
