Dropping out of college has never really been the best advice you could give a young college freshman. But if he has the chance to make it to the NBA draft right after one year at Georgia Tech, then it might not be that bad of a choice. Christopher Wesson Bosh was born on March 24, 1984 at Dallas Texas. Ever since his early years at Lincoln High School, the power forward has managed to make some noise in the sports media. Bosh was the 4th selection of the 2003 NBA draft and was picked by the Toronto Raptors. Bosh managed to make it as one of the most promising young players in the league. Ever since he has emerged as a professional player, Bosh has been a five time NBA-All star, made it to the All-NBA team and was part of the USA Olympic Basketball team that managed to win a gold medal at the 2008 Olympic Games. He also managed to win over the Toronto Raptors fan base and in a way fill in the big shoes left by Vince Carter not only as the team leader but also as the face of the team. He is Toronto all-time leader in points, rebounds, blocks, double doubles and free throws. And now he is making a lot of noise. It was quite clear that the Toronto Raptor needed to step up and make some important changes in their squad. Make it more competitive if you will, if they had any chance of keeping Bosh around once he became a free agent. Much speculation came from the press once Bosh, Dwayne Wade and LeBron James were left as a free agent. At one point it seemed as if the three players might had ended up in one same team. Now both Bosh and Wade share the same agent. It has yet to be announced if all of the parts have come to an official agreement, and the details about the transaction are still to be known. LeBron James has said that he will be giving out details about his professional future once on Thursday on an exclusive interview for ESPN. Rumor has it that all of the three big names in the free agent category might end up playing together. If that were the case, it would come down to Miami. And that is when it gets quite interesting for the NBA sports betting fans. There are going to be some very interesting changes in the odds to win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship if as rumor has it, Lebron James, Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade end up playing at Miami. Things would really start to weight in and neither the LA Laker nor the Boston Celtics would take up the biggest side of the odds. Despite what seems as a dream team there is still much to be said about the financial department when it comes to the Miami Heat. Miami has enough budget to give Bosh and Wade max deals, but still, the Heat’s management would have to do some bargain-shopping to fill its squad for the coming year. As of press time only Michael Beasley and Mario Chalmers are still under contract. It’s going to be an interesting week for NBA fans around. Finally Lebron James might end up in a team that has a real shot at the NBA title. Or perhaps he is still going to be the king with no crown. The bottom line is that all of these players have to play up to their salary. That hopefully means that 2010-2011 NBA Championship is going to be epic.
