There are a lot of fun things you can do online and can waste so many hours on: looking for great places to eat at, play some really cool online games, listen to the latest music and chat with your friends. Here, however, you need to remember your verbal manners such as asking the girl how she is, how her day went and other sincere and genteel little questions like that. Second, web-cam dating will require you to at least provide your date with a bit of an ambience. This simply means clearing up the space behind you or whatever backdrop it is that you wish to show her. It would be terribly embarrassing if your date could see your growing pile of unwashed clothes or the interesting pattern made by cobwebs on your bachelor pad ceiling. Provide an interesting backdrop which could also serve as conversation partners while web-cam dating. Third, remember that lighting plays a key part in how you look! With lighting, you can control the way your face and body is projected and give off a better impression of you to your cyber-date. Make sure that lighting is nice and soft †therefore, use yellow light. White lights tend to be harsh on the skin. With white or fluorescent lights, you might end up looking garish. Not only do yellow lights soften up your image, it also provides a very conducive atmosphere during web-cam dating. And fourth, do remember to be comfortable! Arrange your area so you are leaning back and are comfy on a couch or a nice soft chair. Remember that you are on an online date, so you might want to be as comfortable as possible. This is to ensure that you have a better chance of lasting for a couple of hours in front of the web cam. Do have a glass of water nearby and take a few sips every now and then to ensure that you do not get parched and thus end up with a ragged voice.
