Nokia is the world’s largest manufacturer of mobile telephones and is engaged in the manufacturing of mobile devices and in converging Internet and communications industries. Nokia produces mobile devices for every major market segment and protocol, including GSM, CDMA, and W-CDMA (UMTS). The one I’m writing about is a mobile phone made by Nokia, given the full name, Nokia 6303 classic mobile. Packaging and the handset: Nokia 6303 is packed in a small recycled box and easy to open. There is a picture of the mobile phone on the front box. Inside the box there are a handset, a charger, a earphone and a quick start guide. The handset has two options: one is a black covering, and the other one is a silver covering. The screen size is big as 45mm x 55mm and the weight is light as 96g. Main features: Nokia 6303 was considered as the update of Nokia 6300. Compared to 6300 the handset shape has a little changed but the performance has got better. The Nokia 6303 continues all the basic set of Nokia products. The navigation system is very clear and easy to use. You can personalize as much as you want. The basic features include making and answering calls, sending and receiving messages as well as voice mails and emails. Different from Nokia 6300 Nokia 6303 has MP3 usability and FM radio. You can download music from internet or transfer music from computer. You can surf on internet any time with the mobile and also use its camera to take a photo. nokia 6303 classic has 3.2 megapixel auto-focus with dual LED flash and an 8x digital zoom plus video function. The 1GB memory card provides huge space to store hundreds of pictures. And you can transfer your photos to your pc via Bluetooth or USB cable. You can also upload pictures directly online. Nokia 6303 has preloaded Nokia map software, the games and applications. It’s also available to add GPS to the headset. The battery have super long life and only needs one and half hour to recharge. Price and Availability: In the UK you can buy Nokia 6303 classic mobile from many outlets and network providers including Orange, BT, Virgin, just to name a few. You will find prices vary considerably. As a guide the current price is 94.50 at Amazon UK website. My opinion: I have been using Nokia 6303 for two years and I would like to say I love this headset. it was my first Nokia product, so I needed to learn how to use it. However it was as simple as ABC. Before too long I already knew most of the features. It’s a cute mobile phone in silver colour and the display screen is in a good size. I played music on it and I think the voice quality and volume are both good. The pictures are displaying better on my computer than I see on the mobile. I usually use 8 hours a day and sometimes I listen to Radio and MP3 music. I found the battery can last over two weeks. It is really amazing. Compared to many mobile phones that need recharge every 3-5 days the performance is really impressive. However there are a couple of small items of the Nokia 6303 that I dislike. One is the back cover. It is not easy to remove especially the first time. I had used long time to remove it but at last failed. The machine is solid but too slippery. I dropped it many times within the 2 years. Also I should be more careful with the 1,2,3 keyboards when I type on them. The Micro USB cable connector is too short. When I used it on my computer I had to hold on the mobile. All in all I’m very satisfied with my Nokia 6303 and would be happy to recommend it to anyone who wants a handful and reliable mobile phone at a reasonable price.
