As today almost all of us have become habitual using mobile phone so we can say that the tiny device is playing a major role to carry forward our fast moving life. Putting a lot of efforts Nokia and Samsung have offered two unique smartphones namely â€Nokia N97 Mini and Sony Ericsson Satio†Both are greatly appealing but have been designed for different class of users as first one is a superbly loaded business phone while another one is an appealing camera phone.Both of these are working over Symbian operating system complete with S60 fifth edition software. Nokia N97 Mini will win the hearts of people due to full QWERTY keyboard with Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and Handwriting recognition while its contender has only Accelerometer sensor. First one is of 138 grams and its casing measures 113 x 52.5 x 14.2 mm. whereas second one is of 126 grams and measures 111 x 54 x 15 mm. Both are giving a tough competition in terms of display with same TFT screen and 640 x 360 Pixels resolution and almost similar display colours. Nokia N97 Mini renders 3.2 inches touchscreen allowing 16.7 Million colours and Sony Ericsson Satio has a beautiful 3.5 inches touchscreen displaying 16 Million colours. Nokia’s phone has a 5MP camera with lots of advanced functions still it can’t beat 12.1 MP camera of Samsung’s phone which comes supported by Dedicated Camera Key, Digital Zoom, Auto Focus, Xenon Flash, Geo Tagging, Face & Smile Detection etc. For facilitating video calling facility both possess second VGA videocall camera. HSCSD, GPRS, EDGE, 3G HSDPA (HSUPA in case of Sony Ericsson Satio) WLAN Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g (UPnP technology in Nokia's phone & Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, DLNA in Sony’s phone), Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB technologies made compatible these phones with other devices. Nokia’s widget allows high speed surfing experience via WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML, RSS feeds and its competitor imparts WAP 2.0/HTML, RSS reader. Both these contenders allow viewing documents through document viewer but in addition Sony Ericsson Satio is also capable to edit them via document editor. Both these gadgets are capable to provide information regarding locations through GPS with A-GPS support but in Nokia’s device it supports a Nokia Maps application while in Sony’s device it supports Google Maps. Nokia N97 Mini is excellent in messaging services as it supports SMS, MMS, Push Email (SMTP, IMAP4 & POP3), Email with Attachments, Email Web Widget and Instant Messaging but Sony Ericsson Satio is also not bad at all as it renders SMS, MMS, SMS Long, Email, Instant Messaging and Predictive Text Input. part from all these both are comprised with music features, gaming features etc.
