Nose Bleeding: Prevention And Cure

Human nose, situated at the most vulnerable part of the human body, is actually one of the most sensitive and vital organs. Nosebleed is a common problem faced by people of all ages alike †from kids to old ones.

Nosebleed is caused by a number of reasons with the most common ones being as follows:

Frequent and harsh nose pricking, which tends to scratch out the inside layer thereby leading to bleeding from the nose

Medication which tend to prevent normal blood clotting

Sudden Temperature fluctuations

A road traffic accident, which tends to have a huge shock around the nasal area

Nosebleed or Epistaxis in medical terminology, can lead to immense blood loss if not dealt with effectively and in the right manner.

One common and traditional method to stop nose bleeds is immediate application of ice on nose while bending the head upwards and keeping the nose at a higher level hence. One must not panic at the time of nose bleeding.

Another effective way to stop Nose Bleeds is to use a medication, which tends to absorb blood and results in forming a material which jellifies near the nasal area, which is easy to remove afterwards.

To stop nose bleed, it is required that the preferred medication should release calcium to expedite the coagulation procedure. Therefore, medicine containing the necessary constituent in plenty proves to be decent solution for a profusely bleeding nose.

Once, if somebody becomes a victim of nose bleeding, preventive measures must also be taken so that the problem does not creep in again. Measures to avoid bleeding from your nose in future include:

Do not go for heavy lifting exercises

Do not go outdoors in case of intense hot or cold weather

Stay away from smoking

Further, certain medicinal products, apart from stopping nose bleeding, also act as a preventing agent. These products make sure that the bleeding nose issue is kicked out for good.

In some cases when bleeding from nose sounds red alert signal, products to stop nose bleeds come across as particular relief, as they enjoy the reputation of making the problem disappear in less than 30 minutes!
