Women use Nuva ring birth control to avoid pregnancies and have trusted the company Organon USA that manufactures the contraceptive. The company failed to research and assess the risks and side effects properly and sold the product in the market. Over 1.5 to 2 million women in the world use Nuvaring and many of them have suffered serious problems and side effects like DVT (Deep venous thrombosis), strokes and heart attacks due to pulmonary embolism. Many have even died from these complications arising out of using Nuvaring regularly. There have been many of these cases reported and many people have filed a Nuva ring lawsuit against the company. Many of these women and their families, and in fact a lot of other people too are wondering if filing Nuva ring lawsuits is the answer. The 32-year-old woman and mother of two young kids had been using Nuvaring for six months and one fine day she collapsed, had difficulty in breathing and died on the way to hospital. The onset of complications was so sudden and so severe that nothing could be done. The widower has now filed a Nuva ring lawsuit against the company for damages. Due to the number of individual Nuva ring lawsuits, attorneys and the courts will look at the option of multi-district litigation and a Nuva ring class action lawsuit to handle the growing number of cases more efficiently. Whatever the outcome of the individual Nuva ring lawsuit and other Nuva ring lawsuits, it is always better to fight for ones rights and make other people aware of the dangers of using so called safer third-generation birth control devices which use new forms of hormones without being fully tested for the side effects and problems.
