Organic Skin Care Products And Their Role In The Treatment Of Rosacea

By: suegold Home | Health-and-Fitness | Beauty

Can Rosacea be Affected by Organic Skin Care Products?

Rosacea is becoming a more common skin condition now than it ever has in years past. With the increase in cases confounding the researchers, many have opted to try new treatments that involve the use of organic skin care products instead of conventional treatment. Once, rosacea was hardly ever heard of. Once it came out into the public’s eye, more and more cases of the skin condition are popping up, and researchers are confused at the sudden onslaught of cases. However, some speculate that the use of organic skin care products may very well reduce the number of cases and can even help those suffering with the condition now.

Chemical laden skin care products may be contributing to the increase in rosacea cases. In fact, some researchers believe that some of the harsh chemicals that are permitted into many of the conventional skin care products are the cause of the skin condition, along with genetic sensitivity and a few other factors. Those who have been tested and have been surveyed all admitted to using harsh skin care products for at least a five year period or longer before the onset of their rosacea. Those who switched immediately to an organic skin care product had les severe cases and even saw a reduction in redness and swelling within the first four weeks.

Because organic skin care products are made from entirely natural ingredients and are not laden with heavy chemicals that can irritate the skin, many patients found that their rosacea showed signs of improving within two weeks with noticeable improvement within a month. It takes a little time for organic skin care products to show results because they lack the chemical base which can alter the skin cells’ reactions on an immediate basis. While some organic skin care products may offer physical comfort within the first use or two, long term results may take up to a month to notice.

Soothing Botanicals in Organic Skin Care Products

Organic skin care products often have a high level of soothing botanicals to help ease the discomfort sometimes associated with rosacea. But the benefits do not stop there. Botanicals offer healing properties that tradition skin care products can’t. The natural healing properties of organic skin care products work in conjunction with the skin cells’ natural properties to create a stronger and healthier skin cell that does not respond so heavily to irritating factors. Of course, many patients suffering from rosacea may also need to make a few lifestyle changes along with switching to organic skin care products.

Those who suffer from rosacea and who have made the switch to organic skin care products have found that their results tend to be long lasting and that their looks and the way their skin feels benefits dramatically. While not all patients will agree, those who have selected their organic skin care products carefully and who have given them sufficient time to be effective have found that often they do not require additional treatment. While this is not the case for every patient, those who were surveyed admitted at least a 25 % reduction in discomfort and discoloration. A whopping 72% found that switching to organic skin care products for six months or more led to the reduction or elimination of other more conventional treatments.

Organic Based Treatments Lead to Positive Results

There are many other skin conditions that have found relief with a simple switch to organic skin care products. Initially, results may not be noticed for two weeks, but once they are, there is a world of difference between the response of skin conditions to organic skin care products versus traditional treatments and skin care lines. This is because there is nothing in an organic skin care product that will aggravate the skin, inflame the skin, or irritate the skin. Allowing the organic skin care product enough time to do its magic, and many people with a wide variety of skin conditions have found that their skin is no longer in need of conventional treatment or requires very little traditional product.

Many physicians do not advocate the use of organic skin care products as a means of treatment for skin conditions. One could argue that should an organic skin care product offer a reasonable solution, at a reduced cost to medical care, that the physician involved then loses a patient that supplies a form of income. Others may argue that the physician knows best. However, if you use an organic skin care product for your skin condition and you see the results you are looking for then I suppose your opinion about the physician’s motives would be entirely up to you. It is results that truly matter.
