Panama Tourism Until recently Panama was one of the best kept secrets of Central America. The cloud forests here are a treat to explore and hike in. Plan a visit to Boquette, close to the Volcano Baru. The region is rich in coffee plantations and offers some of the sweetest oranges you would have ever tasted. It is also a good place to try a different kind of water sport, river rafting. You have the option of a single day or multiple day rafting trips. This is a wonderful way of experiencing some of the most remote regions of this province.
