The Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28 digital camera is definitely one of the best cameras around in its category. This digital camera features a powerful zoom lens and state of the art functions that make photography a sheer pleasure. As with most ultrazooms, the FZ28 attempts to appeal to a broad range of shooters, from serious amateurs to absolute beginners. Design and Looks A black color retro casing and a sturdy design leave a lasting impression of this camera. This Panasonic digital camera is not a very heavy camera to carry around and is designed for a comfortable hold. Key Features The Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28 Digital Camera is a super zoom camera with powerful 18x optical zoom and a good, 10MP resolution. For an added boost, zoom power can be increased to 32.1x with the Extra Optical Zoom function. As before, the lens is optically stabilized via Panasonic's Mega O.I.S. technology. Everything in this camera right from the LCD screen to shots per battery refill to the in built memory are larger than the other cameras of its category and yes, it is also priced a bit less than them. Other Features This Panasonic digital camera is also extremely good on connectivity features and interfaces and has a few more like Direct Print that are not present in most of the other cameras in competition. It is also packed with other features like Image Stabilization, Red Eye Reduction, Self Timer etc and does not lag behind on any front. Like the rest of Panasonic's fall models, the FZ28 incorporates Venus Engine IV, the latest version of the company's image-processing algorithms. Verdict The Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28 Digital Camera almost seems to be a flawless piece with awesome functionality and results. You only might have problems with a fixed LCD screen (if you are used to a swivel form camera) and it might be slightly slow in operations sometimes.
