Female bodybuilding is often misunderstood. Most women do not choose to look musclebound like men, but realize that female bodybuilders build muscle to help burn the genetic fat in our bodies much better than working hours of cardio that was recommended in the past years Female bodybuilding started with Rachel Mclish and Cory Everson and has been rising in popularity ever since. The use of anabolic steroids though is spoiling the image of the sport.

Bodybuilding in women is expensive and time consuming sport and there's no pay or prize money to recover their expenses. Female bodybuilding is a way of life for women who wants to experience the highest levels of personal strength like men. Providing, of course, the sporting world will allow them to reach their potential. Female bodybuilding is not a common sport; most Japanese frown at seeing muscular men. Female bodybuilding is a disciplinary method using resistance training with weights, aerobic and anaerobic exercise to build, sculpt and tone muscle mass. The goal or objective is to increase physical strength, endurance, and physical attractiveness towards the opposite sex.
