In ancient times raw flowers and different oils were used to invocate quintessence of smell in different perfumes. Perfumes and fragrances have been spreading the aroma from hundreds of year’s way before human civilization came into existence and discovered to extract them into perfume bottles. Fragrances have the power to control and set our moods; be it some nostalgic instance, feel romantic or be it a professional feeling. Our olfactory centre is powerful enough to recognize and associate, an elixir long forgotten. Some of the greatest perfumes of the 20th century which lingers a nostalgic smell of an era are Channel, Dior, Caleche, Davidoff, Armani, Kenzo etc. These are some of the most successful perfumes which were developed during the 20th century and even after several decades they have managed to captivate our senses. Listing these in my article is a diminutive attempt to pay tribute to these timeless classics which have revolutionized the essences of perfumes world over. In this era of perfumes, with the thousands of fragrance options available in the market, it can sometimes be very confusing to choose the one that is perfect for your taste, personality and that fits the occasion. Before leaving to buy a perfume, you must do some research sitting at home over the internet and narrow down your choices before you’re ready to go to a perfume shop. Since every perfume smells differently on different skins, thus it is very important to make sure the perfume is perfect for you by putting it on your own skin. Perfumes are very exorbitantly ranged, from inexpensive colognes to luxurious designer brands so do not forget to carefully examine each perfume you fancy before getting ahead of yourself and purchasing it.
