They are maintaining their number one position through innovative campaigns like the WOW game. The History The â€Brad’s Drink’ which later on went on to become â€Pepsi Cola’ and eventually turned into â€Pepsi’ was initially launched in the 1900s.The most sought after soft drink, Pepsi has conquered the market like no other drink could. The summer of 1898 saw a young pharmacist in North Carolina named Bradham tried a combination of juices and syrups to come up with a new combination of drink to make his customers happy. He succeeded and gave us what we now as Pepsi. The taste and the fizz of the Pepsi soft drink registered in the consumer’s mind and the sales kept growing. This landmark achievement grew, the markets of the product boomed and in a few years time established itself as a most successful brand of all times. The campaigns of the soft drink Pepsi’s campaigns have always been interesting and increased their sales. The initial ones were centered around the World War encouraging the navy and the army to drink Pepsi and do the needful for the country.
