Pharmaceutical Grade Fish Oil Health Benefits Ko's Cod Liver Oil Everytime

By: David Cassell Home | Health-and-Fitness

Perhaps you already know the importance of omega 3 fish oil in your health. In fact, you can consider it as a miracle of nature.

It can heal several types of illnesses and can prevent various disorders. It develops your brain and other essential organs of the body. However, here's the question: what type of omega 3 supplement should you choose? Why, go for pharmaceutical grade fish oil.

Your confusion has its source. There are several products out there that claim that they are the best omega 3 supplement.

Unless you are armed with the right information, there's a good chance that you will really end up buying a mediocre, non-performing, unhealthy product for yourself and even for your family.

The first thing you have to know is that there are 3 types of fish oil supplements that are found in the market. The first one is the health-food fish oil.

The oil is derived from different kinds of fish species, usually those that are found in fresh water. They contain a high level of omega3 fatty acids, which are essential for your health, but there's a major problem: they can also be filled with contaminants.

Blame it on water pollution. Because of the high level of toxicity, with mercury and lead, in the water, there's a possibility that the fish have digested with toxins.

When they are not properly processed, these toxins will form part of the omega 3 supplement. You are then introducing lead, mercury, and other pollutants in your body once you're going to take a capsule. Simply put, you could be doing more harm than good into your body.

Another kind of fish oil is called the cod liver fish oil. The name already explains where it comes from: the fish oil is specifically extracted from the liver of a cod fish.

A lot of people are taking this omega 3 supplement for one good reason: it is the cheapest available to date.

The downside is that it also has the lowest level of DHA or EPA. This means you're not really meeting the DHA requirement with cod liver fish oil.

Pharmaceutical grade fish oil therefore is the best time of supplement that you can buy for yourself. The fish oil is molecularly distilled to separate the toxins from the fish oil.

What you get is pure DHA and EPA. They are also the safest that you don't have to worry when you take these supplements in high doses.
