Pharmaceutical Machinery Day by day as the technology is advancing newer models of pharmaceutical machines are coming into the market. These modern forms of pharmaceutical machinery are the highly advanced and sophisticated machines designed for easier and faster processes in pharmaceutical industries. Most of the processes in pharmaceutical industries are now automated with the help of these machines which include vial washing machines, liquid filling machines, powder filling machines, capping machine, labeling machine, tablet machines, storage vessels, blister packing machines, vibro sifter etc used for various applications in industries. Powder Filling Machines The equipment used to fill different types of freely flowing granulated products and powders is known as powder filling machine. The powder filling machines can be classified into types like bottle filling machines, tube filling machines and pouch packing machines. These are used to fill different kinds of powders in bottles, tubes and pouches respectively. The auger type powder filling machines now available in the market are the automatic powder fillers which can be employed for filling dry syrup powders, free flowing chemicals in pharmaceutical, food, chemical, cosmetics and pesticide industry. The advanced GMP models of these machines come with modern features like pneumatic bottle holding system, easily removable parts and assemblies for fast autoclaving and sterilization processes, no bottle no fill system to reduce the wastage of costly powders. Capping Machines Capping machine or cap sealing machine is used to seal the bottles once they are filled with liquids or powder. These machines seal the bottles or containers with caps so that the powders can be packed into containers in efficient way so that they are ready to be delivered in markets. These capping machines are generally available in automatic and semi automatic models. The automatic cap sealing machines will have automatic pick and place arrangement installed in them for the automatic feeding and unloading of containers where as in semi automatic cap sealing machines this facility is not available and it has to be done manually. Labeling Machines Once the containers are filled and sealed they are labeled with appropriate names for branding purposes. This task is performed by labeling machines. There are different kinds of labeling machines now available in market like sticker labeling machines, batch coding machines; shrink sleeve labeling machines etc. which can be used for applying labels on containers of different shapes like flat/oval/square/round shape containers. The main factors like the labeling speed of the machine and flexibility for inserting labels on different types of containers can determine the performance of these machines.
