Well OUR Philadelphia Phillies have FINALLY made the World Series again. It has been 15 years since we last saw this but this year is different, this year it just feels like we have a SERIOUS shot to win this. Lets face it when we went 15 years ago we hit a buzzsaw called the Bluejays. But this time it is Philly who is the buzzsaw. Now with that said, we have to look at what this will do to ticket prices for the games in Philly. I can say this, bad economy or not, this is a city that is STARVED for a title and you are now just seeing how great of a baseball town this is and always has been and it will be reflected in the ticket prices. Do not expect to get tickets anywhere near face value or expect to find any last minute deals. There will be NONE. You have a week till the first game as I am writing this and that is more than enough time for people to clear out room on their credit cards and buy hoping that maybe just maybe they may witness history in Philadelphia. Now with that said here are the avenues you can take to obtain tickets to see the Phillies..... 1. Craigslist.org Craigslist is a good site to find tickets from season ticket holders or even ticket brokers looking to sell their tickets. The think to keep in mind is that you are OPEN game for a scam on this site, so tread lightly and make sure you check everything out before purchasing off of an individual. 2. Ebay Same as craigslist in regards to who is selling but the sellers actually have a feedback score that can help out in regards to your decision process. ONLY deal with people with HIGH feedback and RECENT feedback. Try to deal with, "Powersellers." NEVER deal with someone with recent negative feedback or NO feedback. Not for a commodity that can expire and who can beat you on money. 3. Ticketbroker Now before you get all heated up on this, keep one thing in mind, ticketbrokers will have access to more inventory then the above and you can buy tickets in a SAFE and SECURE fashion. So what do you look for in regards to a ticketbroker. Well for one, you want to find one with a good reputation, one who Guarantees not only the authenticity of the ticket, but the ticket you purchased is the one that will be shipped to you. And the most important one who deals ONLY is secure transactions. By that I mean they only accept credit cards, either via the phone or in their office. Here is a VERY VALUABLE piece of information that I am going to pass along to you. EVERY BROKER SELLS THE SAME TICKETS GIVE OR TAKE SOME SEATS HERE OR THERE. With that said, you want to deal with the CHEAPEST obviously or one of the lowest pricest companies that you are 100 GUARANTEE that they will beat any ticketbrokers checkout price on any ticket. And they are a LOCAL TO PHILLY company that charges you local prices. They are not a national company praying you will not do any price shopping.
