So you are wanting to learn to play piano? Well I can help you with that, I actually learned to play piano with online piano lessons a few years ago and I am so happy I actually took the step and invested in piano lessons online. I looked all over the internet trying to find the most promising looking piano course I could find and at first I had a hard time because I didn’t want to take that step and actually invest in videos because I wasn’t sure about not having the one on one teacher to tell me everything to do, but this is what I discovered. With piano lessons online I could 1. Learn at my own pace. 2. Learn any style I wanted and do it my way. And 3. They are way cheaper then hiring someone for there personal time. If right now you are a beginner at the piano, and you want to find the best piano lessons for beginners then read on to find out what you should be looking for. When I was beginner at the piano when I first started I couldn’t even tell you what a C chord was or a Scale, I had absolutely no idea about the piano, or where to even start. All those keys looked so complicated and there was so many that it overwhelmed me. But with the right piano instruction to break it all down to you, you will discover that playing the piano is actually very simple. Its like just about anything else if you have to have the right formula, you can do it. And believe me when you know that formula, playing the piano is so easy a child could learn it. I am just trying to encourage you because I know how frustrating it is to take on something new and you have no idea how hard its going to be. But once you realize its as easy as it is then you will be glade that you took the time to learn. So here is what kind of piano lessons you will need if you are a beginner at the piano. There is lessons for more advanced players also that I will recommend that if you get past the basic videos you can move on to. But first you will need to learn piano scales, piano fingering, and piano exercises. Those are the simplest part to learn on the piano. Scales and fingering is a must have to know how to move on to bigger things. Fingering is something that usually practicing will work out. The other thing you will be learning with good piano lessons for beginners is how to form all the chords on the piano. Major, Minor, Diminished, Augmented. 6ths, 9ths, 7ths, 13ths, 11ths. That might sound like a lot of chords to learn but once you learn how to form the basic major chord all the other chords are pretty easy because they are all build off the Major chord. From learning chords you will then move on to learning how to use chord progressions to actually form songs. That is the basic formula because once you learn all the chords, then those chords in the way that they move form songs. This is the basic principles of the piano, and actually every song you ever hear will use this same pattern. But you just have to get in there and learn each step, and from there when you want to get more advanced it all about taking those three things and learning how to change things up and put your own style to them.
