Pick Your Favorite Celebrity Hair Style For 2009

By: Phoenix Delray Home | Health-and-Fitness | Beauty

A celebrity hair style is always news, and it always sets the trends for fashion for the year. Lindsey Lohan plaits her long hair to add definition and texture, Kate Hudson has hair that is sleek and sexy, and Jennifer Garner and Lauren Conrad have beautiful, wavy locks. Long hair is definitely a celebrity hair style to have for the New Year, as long as it doesnt look limp, dull, full of hairspray, or too wild.

A popular celebrity hair style for the New Year is the ponytail. A ponytail is a classic to sweep hair off of the face, which makes it fashionable and stylish. A ponytail can be worn so many different ways that no two are alike, and whether it is worn on the side and tight, up high on the head, or in a low, loose hold, the 2009 hairstyles that look great pulled back should be crimped or scrunched up for style. Also, a ponytail that is half in and half out gives a ponytail a simple, feminine look, and the soft strands that are left out give a less harsh look to the old classic.

Wearing the hair up in other ways besides the ponytail is also a hot celebrity hair style trend. Up dos with more flair than before can be done with back combing. Accessories will be a big part of the hairstyles for the New Year, especially bows. Bows and accents will be in demand, as will be braids and simple pull backs. They can be subtle or dramatic, and many stars wear their hair up and look gorgeous, like Eva Mendes and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

A celebrity hair style can make anyone feel like a million bucks. Of course there are always those of us who are happy with the current hair style that they have now. If you like your current style but would like some kind of a change, little things can make all the difference. If your hair is short, look through magazines or the Internet to find a different way to style it. If your hair is longer, you can just get a hair cut that adds layers to shape it differently. For any length of hair, another way to get a change without a chop is to add some chunks or highlights.

Other celebrity hair styles that are popular are the cropped cuts, the emo hairstyles, layered styles full of body, and elegant, wavy hair. Women wearing bangs is also beginning to make a comeback; combine a great looking bob with bangs and even a few layers, and youll feel like a celebrity yourself. Curls and waves always seem to bring the word sexy with them, as long as they are healthy, smooth, and definitely not frizzy or overly dry. Curls are also great with any length; the bigger, loose curls are what are turning heads this year, and you can have curly hair trailing down your back or short, wavy hair falling over the face. A celebrity hair style can go any direction, as long as it is healthy.
