Gibralfaro Castle: Believed to have been built in the 11th century, the castle is built on the mountain Gibralfaro. Actually this castle is connected to the Alcazaba. During the 14th century many improvements were brought about for the castle. The castle is believed to have been built as a watchtower to oversee the security of the city. This beautiful castle is preserved even to this day as a reminiscence of the history of Spain.
