Primary Protective Apparel

When it comes to having your main apparel such as outerwear, pants, or shirts inherently flame resistant, you will discover primary protective clothing can be worn for specific activities. These can be worn over secondary protective apparel to offer even more protection.

Secondary Protective Apparel

These are the worn continuously and not just for a specific activity or burst of flames. This FR work wear is designed for continual wear, and does not always offer maximum benefits should there be a burst of exposure.

Disposable FR Work Wear / Limited Use Apparel

If you happen to have a secondary protective apparel or secondary protective apparel that cannot be laundered, you would consider these disposable. Limited use apparel will burn but also self-extinguished the flame.

Chemical Resistant Apparel

When work wear protects against chemical affects, that fabric or materials are considered chemical resistant apparel.

Breathable Apparel

Nomex is an outer shell material woven together with polyurethane. This polyutherane lining is breathable meaning you get protection that allows your skin to breathe. Different lines have various breathability factors. If you need breathability, be sure to get what you need.
