The fundamental principle of powder coating method involves creating a thick layer of electro statically charged paint particles on the surface of the object. Compressed air moves the particles of paint to the spray head of the powder coating gun, where it receives an electrostatic charge and gets attached due to electrostatic bond; and accumulates within its path on a grounded substrate. This powder coating method does not require any primer application or surface base. The surrounding work area is cleaner and requires less maintenance. It consumes less fuel and energy; saving significant amount of time and labor.
