By: Joey L Jones Home | Self-Improvement

The most common and popular power pressure washers are by far Cold Water Pressure Washers. This is due to the fact they do not require heater, are more light weight and less bulky. Without heating fuels also means lower utility bills too. They are versatile for very varied types of cleaning tasks from decks, patios, windows, garage, brick walls, to cars, boats and even caravans. These machines are common sights in household cleaning and even cleaning of public works like pavements, sidewalks, drains, gutters, government buildings etc. Industrial and commercial property management use them for general and regular cleaning to ensure satisfactory levels of building cleanliness.

Cold Water Pressure Washers can be powered by Electricity, Gasoline or Diesel. Electric Pressure Washers are the most common, it being the lighter and less bulky version and hence more versatile. They can be used for both indoor and outdoor cleaning. The cold water gas pressure washers are comparatively bulkier with the gasoline or diesel containers either attached to the machine or mounted on the side. This version of pressure washers cannot be used in unventilated confined space indoors as the carbon monoxide emissions from burning fuels which drive the machine could be fatal when inhaled.

The Gas or Diesel units are the more suitable power pressure washers if you are cleaning locations which are remote and without AC power. These units are most suitable when you need to clean up your summer lodge in the middle of the woods or by the river and where AC power is scarce. Alternatively, these units are of greater cleaning efficiency with PSI ranging from 2,000 to 4,000 and can be used to clean up commercial or industrial locations more thoroughly than their electric counterparts.

Always evaluate what your cleaning needs are before you commit to the right machine. The cleaning functions of Cold Water Electric Pressure Washers can vary greatly to those of Diesel or Gas Pressure Washers. Essentially, you must know your needs in order to choose the right type of pressure washers, for instance, if you need to do a lot of cleaning outdoors and much less indoors, the latter would be a better and more power machine than the former, although the electric version will suffice for most general household cleaning for both indoors and outdoors.
