Premium Dog Food

By: Duane C Home | Home-and-Family | Pets

To maintain your dog active and healthy, you need to be extra conscious about his diet. Like you, your pet exposed to stress, exertion polluted atmosphere, ageing and foods grown in nutrient deficient soil. How you will cope up with daily emerging new problems? I have the best resolution called premium dog food. Premium dog food is the rich source of essential nutrients. Unlike you, your dog has to get sufficient intake of nutrients from a single source. Premium dog food always stands better than economy or store brands. These foods are easy to digest, your pet do not need much to consume. How you will guess about the well-being of your dog? Simply, observe him. His eyes, coat shine, weight, activeness. Any other health issues have to inform to your vet.

Essential Nutrients: Every dog has requirement of right amount of proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates, fats, water and minerals. Your dog is also not exceptional. Right amount of intake will keep your dog healthy and active all time. Nutrient needs vary with age, activity level and breed of the dog. Several genuine dog food-manufacturing companies prepare Premium dog food in any form is good. However, which is the best? Dry food is the one. These foods are less likely to accumulate plaque and bacteria on the teeth. It also results in firmer and compact stools. At times, semi-moist foods are okay, but somehow do not offer nutritional advantages like canned foods or premium kibble. Comparatively, puppies need more calories and nutrients than adult dogs. They require calories double than their body (25-30 % depending on the breed). Adult dogs need two meals per day. Often, this referred as maintenance diet. Remember; always avoid feed chocolate to the dog because chemical content called Theo bromine is toxic for your dog’s health.
