Prison Break Star Is The Ultimate Hottie

By: Groshan Fabiola Home | Arts-and-Entertainment

There's really no denying it. Prison Break's very own Wentworth Miller has captured the hearts of millions of women (and possibly men) all around the world. A number of fan pages have proliferated all over the Internet, and talk about who he may be dating (man or woman) still refuse to die.

This week, Entertainment Weekly honored the bachelor of everyone's dreams by giving him the title of "Ultimate Hottie." Apparently, Miller went past other Hollywood sex symbols such as Matthew McConaughey, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Grey's Anatomy very own McDreamy, Patrick Dempsey, to snatch the top spot. On the females list, Angelina Jolie reigned.

EW.com recently asked its readers to rank the hottest men and women of all time, and the final list was generated a month later. Miller and Jolie emerged as the first placers on the lists, as Batman Begins star Christian Bale came in second place on the male list, followed by Lost's Josh Holloway on third. Holloway is recognized for his work on the ABC series as Sawyer, one of the survivors on Oceanic 815. Also getting into the top ten are George Clooney, Harrison Ford, and Mark Wahlberg. However, reigning Jolie's husband, Brad Pitt did not make it into the top ten.

Aside from Jolie, the female Ultimate Hottie list includes 1060s star Racquel Welch, who came in second. Following close behind were Jessica Alba, Marilyn Monroe, and Monica Bellucci. Notable celebrities who did not make it into the list included Keira Knightley, Demi Moore, and Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria.

At 35 years old, Ultimate Hottie Wentworth Miller was born in Oxfordshire , England to parents of various ethnicities. He graduated from Princeton University with a degree in English literature and moved in to pursue an acting career. His break out performance was in ABC's Dinotopia, where he played the introverted David. He also had minor roles on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Human Stain and Popular. In 2005, he worked on the role that would lead him to further stardom, as he played the lead role in FOX's Prison Break. In the same year, he was nominated for a Golden Globe, in the category of Best Actor in a Dramatic Series.
