Protect Your Skin With Natural Hand Made Soaps!

By: Sakun Engineers Home | Health-and-Fitness | Beauty

Many people believe that it’s the problems with their shops and buy commercially produced soaps, its filmy, thick, and leave you feeling sticky. They also use seriously harsh chemical which can be harmful for your skin; but you cannot stop washing because you don’t have other option. Instead, try to make homemade soap, which will be soft on the skin. Creating your own soap is fun and you make the soap get rid of many problems that can be found in commercial soap.

One of the biggest problems in commercial soaps is that they are not soap at all, they are only detergent! They are oil-based product, and make the skin dry over time, leaving itchy and miserable. Household soaps, by contrast, are made with soft natural oils, like coconut, olive and palm trees, which both clean and moisturize your skin.

Another major problem with commercial soaps is that they have been tested on animals, and if such tests were conducted ethically or not. However, if you are making your own soap, you know exactly what have you used for making the soap and it has not been tested on animals. You could often make soap with environmental friendly natural components.

One of the most interesting part of your own soap is you get to choose exactly what to put in it. You can put in any flavor you want (in the end, making vanilla or cinnamon scented soap is easy, but what was the last time you saw a soap with that scent in the market?) And you can choose to specifically leave out the bits and pieces you find harsh on your skin.

The soap is also a great resourceful project, letting you use your imagination as you combine the items, scents and colors. Homemade or handmade soaps make great gifts, and give you the opportunity to learn how to do what is essential to our lives, but many people take this for granted.

Lye soap, purified water and coconuts, olive and grapes seed oil is used for simple soap making at home. You need to make two mixes: one for the lye and water, and the other three oils. Liquor and the mixture of hot water will be hot, as it would do to ventilate and cool to 110F. The oils, by contrast, must be heated from 5 degrees to 110F, the closer you can get the temperature of the oil in the lye / water temperature, the better. Pour mixture carefully into the liquor mixture of oil, then mix in a blender until creamy fine. Then pour into soap molds. You can use any kind of mold for home soap, as you don’t have to give it perfect shape.

Isn’t it easy? Remember, however, to handle the lye very carefully, it is very acidic and can damage your skin and eyes, if you're not alert. It is good to do a research on how to handle, use help, and do not forget to wear gloves, goggles and a heavy apron to help ensure you're protected.

Not only the soap is easy and fun, this creative project will help keep alive the art of dying, and help you to be healthier and environmentally friendly. Give it a go, the manufacture of soap is a great project to try!
