Whenever a city hosts a major sporting event, the local economy is injected with a new lease of life. All major economic growth drivers get a boost due to infrastructure related activities and tourism ahead of and during the event. The city will receive 300 athletes, staff & representatives and not too mention press from all over Americas. The city will receive unprecedented national and international coverage. Puerto Vallarta will also receive promotion through organizations such as Global Sport, part of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), which will be selling 3 day visit packages for Puerto Vallarta. The development activities to setup or ramp up the infrastructure will enhance the already popular water-sports culture. As you maybe aware, Puerto Vallarta Real Estate attracts large number of buyers of Puerto Vallarta homes since it offers exotic beaches and world class water sport facilities. The city will also provide the infrastructure for the celebrations of each sporting event. To attract general public a route which runs along the waterfront will be used for Open Water swimming. The sailing competition requires only open sea which Puerto Vallarta boasts of plenty!
