If you want to add an other mouth to your family there are considerations that should be taken into account and this is so true when you want a new puppy. There are food issues, care issues and especially the cleaning issue. Where you will now have a new messes to clean up. The reality of owning a new puppy is that a puppy needs to be taught proper hygiene at a young age. But you have to not expect too much out of him right now. Even at six months of age there can still be an occasional mess to pick up as he thought the rug in the living room was his potty. But having the patience and the love and by being persistent with your puppy potty training and these issues will be in the past. You have to show your puppy the area that is his potty training area. If he is doing his thing in the wrong spot them place him in the spot that is his. Reinforcing the spot as the acceptable bathroom spot. When you are training your puppy it is very important to be consistent in how you reward and scold your puppy and make sure that the way you punish your puppy is always the same. That also goes for doing rewards for proper behavior. Another important fact is that when your puppy does something that is wrong that you punish him right away so that he knows what he did wrong. But like always be consistent in your puppy potty training.
