By: Roberto Bell Home | Travel-and-Leisure

Just think, you\'ll have access to all sorts of pistes if you buy a single ski pass. The pistes can drop more than a vertical 2500 meters, giving way to fast speeds, cooler temps and lots of snow.rnrnPuy Saint Vincent in France offers a lot more incredible numbers for skiing as well. There are 60 km of downhill slopes and no less than 15 ski lifts. Additionally, one ski lift takes you up to nearly 2800 meters, where you can commence to ski down to 1400 meters, the location of most of the hotels. The ski run ratio in Puy Saint Vincnent, moreover, is divided with six green runs, two black runs, 12 red runs and 14 blue runs. With Les Ecrins National Park not too far off, there\'s more skiing than you could ever want to do in a single vacation. There are over 60 kilometers of cross-country ski trails. This is one of the best places in France to escape the sea of European vacationers.rnrnIf you bring the kids along, then rest assured that they\'ll be taken well care of in Puy Saint Vincent. There are plenty of nursery slopes for the little ones. There are enough slopes to keep the busiest of skiers happy for at least a few days. If you buy a six-day ski pass, you\'ll be able to hit all the slopes in less time. If you add on the rest of the Galaxie ski area, then you\'ll need at least three weeks to test out all the slopes. The cost for the ski passes come to â'129 for an adult and around â'100 for a child. A season pass comes to just over â'400 and â'330 for an adult and child respectively. The ski season starts on December 13th and ends on April 19th.rnrnIn Puy Saint Vincent in France, you\'ll find the newest resort town above 1500 meters while the older village rests at a more optimal 1400 meters. The lift system can carry 14000 skiers per hour but you\'ll never have to wait on this many peopleâ€"this place is popular but still considered a gem in the rough, and not too many people know about it. Bring the kids or your spouse and get ready for the liberation of all your stresses, whether it is through countless hours of skiing or copious amounts of apres ski partying, you\'ll always feel at ease here.rnrnThough you may run out of apres ski options after day two or three, do not fret. There are all kinds of other thrills to ski off the slope. Snowshoeing, dog sledding and ice-skating can all be done here. Additionally, if you\'ve ever wanted to tie on a cape and fly like Superman, try paragliding. You can even ride four-wheelers or snowmobiles to pass a scenic day without too much effort on your part. After you spend a few days skiing and off the slopes, you\'ll be happy how well you sleep, as the bars and such don\'t usually stay open to the wee hours of the night like other French ski resorts.
