Quit Smoking With The Powerful Of Smoking Hypnosis

By: suegold Home | Health-and-Fitness

A lot of people find it hard to quit smoking on their own will. Even they are naturally strong-willed, a habit such as smoking can be hard to beat. At times like these, intervention may be needed; this may come in the form of counseling or a friendly support. A good alternative for intervention is in the form of hypnosis, called Quit Smoking Hypnosis. Quit Smoking Hypnosis, or simply smoking hypnosis, is a more effective form of intervention because it affects the subconscious, the area of the brain where impulses, habits, and psychological addictions reside.

Interventions from friends or family to pressure you to stop smoking are all well-meaning but often futile. This is because the advice may not register deep inside you, and you may feel that you are only doing it for them and not really for yourself. When this is the case, you resort to temporary measures, often quitting a week or a month, and in no time giving in to the habit once again. Even if you feel that it is in your heart to quit to please your loved ones, this commitment does not come from within and is only artificial.

In smoking hypnosis, the core of the habit is visited: the subconscious. There are many factors that affect our habit of smoking; these can range from the physiological to the psychological. Smoking hypnosis works by putting you in a trance state of mind that resembles sleep so that you become more impressionable or susceptible to suggestions. While in this state, suggestions to quit smoking are embedded in your subconscious, by simply stating positive statements such as â€I am stronger than smoking†or â€I have control over my smoking habit,†and so on. Smoking hypnosis can be induced by a hypnotherapist or through audio tapes or CDs. There are also methods for self-hypnosis that you can do in the privacy of your own home.

Your choice of which method of smoking hypnosis to employ, whether with a hypnotherapist, through audio tapes, or through self-hypnosis, will depend on your budget. Some methods may also be effective for you while some may not have an effect on you. It is also a matter of trial and error, but usually the best type of intervention will be from a second person, or a reputable hypnotherapist because they are the most knowledgeable in inducing hypnosis.

How Quit smoking hypnosis can work for you

When your conscious mind is not listening, it\'s time to talk to your subconscious to convince it that smoking is bad for you and it will only lead you to an early death, or a long suffering. How do you communicate with your subconscious and make sure it heeds this? Through the therapy of Quit Smoking Hypnosis.

Even if you are fully aware of the consequences of smoking, nothing seems to stop you from doing so. A picture of a smoker\'s lung will not do it for you, a relative who is suffering from lung disease will not do it for you, a list of diseases caused by smoking displayed in your pack of cigarettes will not do it for you, the knowledge that second-hand smoke can kill will not do it for you, and your loved ones pleading even threatening just for you to quit smoking will still not do it for you. Sure, you will attempt to quit, and be successful in abstaining from cigarettes for a week, maybe a month, if you have strong will power, but it always comes back to haunt you, you can\'t seem to escape. Habits are formed physiologically and psychologically. It is hard for us to undo habits because they lie deep inside our minds. They make us act automatically without our need to think, just like when we pick up that stick of cigarette. This is why it hard for the rational conscious mind to argue even if the facts it presents are life-threatening. To achieve real change, we must go to the source and affect it. The subconscious mind is the part of the brain that controls bodily functions, memory, impulses, and habits. One of the best ways to affect the subconscious to stop smoking is through Quit Smoking Hypnosis.

Quit smoking hypnosis is a therapy program that employs the method of hypnosisâ€"the process of artificially inducing a trance state that resembles sleep to make a subject more receptive and impressionable. While in this trance state, you are suggested with positive statements to quit smoking. Quit smoking hypnosis can be availed of through hypnosis sessions with a psychologist or a hypnotherapist. Quit smoking hypnosis sessions are also available through audio tapes and CDs sold online. Quit smoking hypnosis can also be induced on your own, through self-hypnosis.
