Quitting Smoking Is Not Impossible

We all know that it is very difficult to give up any of our habits and especially when they are bad. Well here we are talkingabout quitting the habit of smoking. You must have seen large numbers of people who want to quit their habit of smoking but are not able to do that as they get addicted to it. Here are listed few ways by which you can quit smoking and keep yourself away from unwanted health problems. The first step starts at individual level only. You need to make up your mind and try to avoid smoking as much as you can. After this you can takehelp of other ways which will help you in quitting smoking at the earliest possible.

The ways are as follows:

Deep breathing: this one is the most efficient and tested methods which will definitely help you in achieving what you want. Whenever you feel like having a cigarette you do this for two to three times. Inhale lung full of air as you can and then slowly exhale the air out. This is one type of exercises and is quite relaxing. Once you are expert at it you can try it in future as well to get relief from stress.

Consume more of fluids: when you consume more and more of water it will help in removing toxins like nicotine from your body and thus your urge to have cigarette will become less. One should know that the craving for smoking is for a very short duration of time and when you avoid smoking the urge will become lesser with every passing day. You should avoid things like alcohol, coffee and other similar substances as they enhance the urge for smoking. Also of you want to stay healthy then avoid taking food items rich in fats. This has nothing to do with smoking but it has lots to do with your overall health. When you stop having cigarette the amount of nicotine inside your body gets reduced and this in turn slows down the rate of metabolism.
