The music for Ragini MMS an upcoming Bollywood horror film that is being produced by Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor is something to watch out for. Sameer Tandon who has created music for films like, Jail, Corporate, Page 3 and Traffic Signal has composed music for the film. The music of Ragini MMS was launched by yesteryears actor, Jitendra and father of Ekta Kapoor in Mumbai at an event recently. While unveiling the music, Jitendra said that he was pleased by the work done by Sameer Tandon. â€Raat Akeli Hai’ a very popular number from the film, Jewel thief that dates back to the sixties is a part of the film. The original song composed by S.D. Burman and sung by Asha Bhonsle and most of its originality has been retained in the film. Another song of the film, â€Itne Kareeb Aao’ by Raaj is also gaining popularity. Bollywood music director, Bappi Lahiri has also rendered his voice for one of the songs, â€You are my Chicken Fry’ along with Shweta Shetty. At the music release, while interacting with the media, Ekta Kapoor said that though MMS was a part of the title, the film was not based on any MMS scandal. Though the film revolves around the nude video of a girl called Ragini, the film is high in its horror quotient rather than the sleaze angle. Ragini MMS has Kainaz Motivala as Ragini and Raj Kumar Yadav as Uday. The film is directed by Pawan Kriplani. The film is scheduled for release on 13th May, 2011. Ragini MMS is a passionate story of an ambitious, handsome young man and a beautiful girl and their escapade on a weekend. The couple goes to a house on a week end to spend some romantic time with each other completely unaware of the fact that the house has hidden cameras in every corner. The couple shares some intimate moments which were meant to be a secret but are captured on camera. These private pictures disclose some spooky and unnatural situations which are unacceptable to normal humans bringing into focus paranormal behavior.
