Real Madrid Planning To Give Away Three Players

By: Claudia Beckford Home | Recreation-and-Sports

According to Bernd Schuster; Real Madrid Coach there are some players that are not part of his future plans; among them Javier Saviola from Argentina, Royston Drenthe from Holland and Jerzy Dudek from Poland.

Real Madrid’s president Ramon Calderon stated they are not planning to continue dealing with players who charge ridiculous amounts therefore they will not be part of the coach’s plans. The most obvious case is that of the 26-year-old player Javier Saviola who said he has not had many opportunities to be part of the team since the start of the last season. Before playing for the Real Madrid he was part of the Barcelona club, but with Madrid he has been a main player in only three occasions from a total of seventeen games this last campaign; he said he can’t imagine leaving the club†Saviola was selected by Madrid with a loud welcoming last summer and Calderon thought he was going to be a big success, but as time passed they realized his hiring did not have any effect on the team.

At the time; Saviola is not even included in friendly games and Madrid is moving pieces to transfer him to the Olympique de Marsella. Despite Saviola’s enthusiasm in the Merengue club; it is very probable he will be on his way to France shortly. The Marsella team is very interested on the Argentinean and might acquire him in the near future.

Another signing which did not came out very well was the Dutch Royston Drenthe as the club made a previous payment of fifteen million Euros but he turned out to be very different, his performance has not been as expected and mainly he hasn’t taken advantage of the chances Schuster has given him. It seems he has not been able to get accustomed to the discipline a team of these magnitude demands. Madrid has already spoken about transferring him to Fiorentina as they are willing to take him for what is left of the season and the next one as well.

And finally; we have Dudek who is one of the rookies that might be moved to another team. At first it looked like he was going to take a stand and he is now looking forward to change teams and move forward he knows if he continues where he is he wont have a chance in the Euro Cup. Real Madrid’s plans are to hire Pinto from the Celta team once Dudek leaves.
