When taking proper care of their cars, the owners find themselves in a situation when a hood has to be replaced. Currently, there are many different hoods available on the market differing in the material they are made of, design and also price. Since there are also many hoods manufacturers, choosing the right hood for a particular car can become quite difficult task sometimes.

The manufacturers of the most popular hood brands, such as Vis, Seibon, Civic, Eclipse, Integra and Carbon creations, are proud of their high quality products and impose considerable requirements when it comes to the proper production and testing processes. The durability of their carbon fiber hoods have been proven by many car owners who always refer to them as the most reliable ones. Since the competition in car equipment area is really huge they always try to improve their own manufacturing processes and invest big amount of time as well as money into the development of new and better products.

Since the durability and design of carbon hoods are very superior, they are sought after by many car racers and truck owners who put their vehicles through a lot. The other very popular material used for the production of durable hoods is fiberglass. Both hoods make an excellent match for the added performances of one\'s driving needs due to their feather weight materials. Since the hoods are very light, it might seem they will not last for long time, but the opposite is true. The hoods are well constructed, with emphasis on the strength while keeping their overall weight light.
