Bladder infection mainly occurs among women due to shorter urethra. Their anatomy increases the chances of the syndrome. The phenomenon is also seen among men and children. There are several reasons that lead to bladder infection. Men acquire it due to several reasons. This happens due to enlarged size of the prostate gland. Such factors restrict the out flow of urine from the body.

The infection is found among men ranging between the age group of three months to 50 years. Old men get infected due to medical factors. Men who use catheter or similar device to support life are at higher risk. A person with decreased immunity is highly prone to bladder infection. The decreased resistance fails to fight against the bacterium responsible for the urinary tract infection.

There are several factors that decrease the immunity of body. It includes medical problems, regular alcohol consumption, defects in urinary parts. The symptoms of the disease include foul smell in urine, pain while urinating, sudden discharge from penis, frequent urge to urinate, fever etc. Hence, an individual facing these issues must consult a doctor immediately.

Young men should avoid these conditions; otherwise it would lead to severe effects. During the initial stage, you can consume 8 ounces of cranberry juice thrice in a day to get relieved. It is a natural remedy that cures bladder infections without producing any side-effects. Moreover, you should drink ample water to flush the infectious bacterium from the urinary bladder.

Hence, men need to be cautious of the disease, otherwise it can be life-threatening in long run.
